An event called "Republican Forum of Student Youth Organizations 2024" was held at the Baku Youth Center with the support of the Youth Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the organization of ASYOU.
The event began with a visit to the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Alley of Martyrs, with the participation of ASYOU, representatives of Youth Organizations, SYO chairmen and activists.
With the opening speech, the chairman of ASYOU, Parviz Miralamli, spoke about the importance of the youth policy, which was founded by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, and about the work done in relation to the youth. Union's general secretary Rashad Zeynalov and program manager Fidan Hasanova presented the report of the Union for 2023, and also discussed the difficulties faced by SYOs and student clubs and listened to their proposals.
Followed by Orkhan Arabov, Deputy Executive Director of the Youth Fund, Nijat Mammadli, Advisor to the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Prof. Gulzar Ibrahimova, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of BAAU, Associate Professor Saadat Gandilova, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs of UNEC, Social Affairs and Public Relations of AzMIU A panel meeting was held with the participation of vice-rector Orkhan Nagdiyev, vice-rector for international relations of ASU, docent Jala Garibova, on "Involvement of Student Youth Organizations in the internal administrative and service activities of the educational institution and their role in these processes".
In the final part of the event, there was a transition to the awarding ceremony. At this stage, the Baku Eurasian University Student Youth Organization "Student Youth Organization of the Year" (Fidan Azizova), the Acting club "Student Club of the Year" (Zahra Mansumzadeh) under the Baku Eurasian University Student Youth Organization, and Huner Alkhanov , a member of the Board of Directors of the Baku Eurasian University Student Youth Organization was awarded the "SYO Representative of the Year" nomination.
