  Scope and topics of the conference

Dear scientists, doctoral students, dissertations, master's students,

On the eve of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey, founded in 1923, on October 15, 2023, you will be invited to a conference organized jointly by the "Azerbaijani and World Literature" and "Theoretical Linguistics and Turkic Languages" departments of the Baku Eurasian University, we invite you to participate in the conference in order to study the new stages of development of philological thought in Turkey, to revisit the creativity of our prominent writers, and to study the problems of research and teaching of Turkish languages.

Research Areas/ Conference Scope

• Social-political, scientific, cultural activities of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk;

• National leaders: Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and Heydar Aliyev;

• Atatürk and the Turkic World;

• Prose of the republic period;

• Poetry of the Republic period;

• Republic era dramaturgy;

• Azerbaijani emigrants and emigrant literature in Turkey;

• Literature of Turkic peoples;

• Famous linguist, literary critic and folklorist of the republic period;

• Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's language policy;

• Common alphabet, common language and common future of Turks of the world;

• Problems of teaching Turkish languages to foreigners;

• The potential of studying Turkish languages from a cognitive point of view;

• Turkish languages as a regional and global language;

• One nation, six states and the future Turan.

Summary and writing guidelines:

The summary should be sent between 250-400 words in one of the Azerbaijani, Turkish, English and Russian languages with 12 fonts and 1 spacing. Keywords should be listed at the end of the summary.

Note: Report texts presented in the Azerbaijani language must be accompanied by an English summary, while texts prepared in other languages must be accompanied by a summary in the Azerbaijani language.

The full text should be sent in 5-10 pages, 12 fonts, 1 space, including the abstract, in one of Azerbaijani, Turkish, English and Russian languages.

• You can send your summary written in Word format to [email protected] by September 15, 2023.

• An acceptance letter (pdf) will be sent to you after the abstract has been accepted.

• The conference will be held on October 19, 2023.

• You can send full texts to [email protected] until November 1, 2023.

Presentation texts should be compiled in the following order:

• MS Word editor

• A4 format

• Times New Roman font size 12

• Line spacing – 1

• Text margins – 2 cm

• At the beginning of the text, the author's ORCID number, first and last name, place of work (institution where he studied), scientific degree, scientific name, and e-mail address should be indicated.

• References should be in APA Style.

Note: Papers of authors who do not comply with the format and sample, as well as those who did not participate in the conference, will not be printed.
