BAAU "Humanities and Regional Studies" department, teachers Ph.D. Jala Ismayilova and Ph.D. Aygun Kamandari-Mammadova's delivered lectures on Shusha.

The lectures spoke about the history of Shusha, which has a very ancient geological age, the origin of the name Shusha, the etymology of the word, the establishment of the city of Shusha, which is an ancient Turkish homeland, and its political history.

The importance of Shusha as the literary center and musical cradle of Azerbaijan and the most recent glorious page of our history - Shusha's victory were highlighted.
