On March 18, 2024, under the leadership and organization of Saida Yusifova, head teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature of Baku Eurasian University, the 3rd year students of the English language and literature major held an event called "Nowruz, the harbinger of the Green World". A group of professors and students of the Faculty of Philology took part in the event.

The event started with a minute's silence in memory of our martyrs who died for the motherland and continued with interesting speeches by the students. Students presented the traditions of Nowruz, our National Holiday, in English with the help of various decorative means. In the event, which continued with our beautiful and wonderful National dances, scenes from the English-language films "Kidnage of the Bridegroom" and "Let It Be, Let It Be" were shown to the event participants. At the end of the event, the head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature, Ph.D., Assoc. Fatma Majidova gave a speech, applauded everyone who contributed to the event and congratulated everyone on the occasion of the holiday. The event was remembered with great impressions.
