Alishir Navai and Mohammad Fuzuli: our common literary and moral values" was discussed.

On April 17, 2024, a round table was held at the Baku Eurasian University with employees from various higher education institutions and research institutes of the Republic of Uzbekistan. A discussion was held on "Alishir Navai and Muhammad Fuzuli: our common literary and moral values" at the round table, which was attended by BAAU faculty members and students.

Head of the Department of Azerbaijan and World Literature, Ph.D., prof. Elmira Mammadova-Kekeç opened the event with an introductory speech and after welcoming the guests, she introduced the professors and teachers of Baku Avarasiya University to the guests. Later, the head of the Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan literary relations department of the Nizami Institute of Literature of ANAS, phil.E.D., Assoc. Almas Binnatova presented the delegation of Uzbek scientists to the delegation of BAAU. After mutual acquaintance, prof. Elmira Mammadova-Kekech informed the guests about the university. He spoke about the work in the direction of recognition and teaching of Uzbek literature at BAAU.

BAAU vice-rector for scientific affairs, s.e.d., prof. Gulzar Ibrahimova talked about Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan literary and cultural relations, and Professor Tarlan Guliyev talked about the work he did in the direction of promoting and publishing Uzbek literature in Azerbaijan. Prof. Tarlan Guliyev presented the work "Mizanul ovzan" translated into Azerbaijani by A.Navai to the guests. Emphasizing the work done by Dovlatshah Samarkandi in the editing of "Tazkiretush-shuera", he noted that he prepared Turkish words from Mahmud Zamakhshari's dictionary "Muqaddimatul-adab" for printing.

Philosophical scientist, Ph.D., Assoc. Khatira Yusifova gave an extensive report on the reading and research of Navai and Fuzuli manuscripts. Nasimologist scientist, Ph.D., prof. Speaking about the power of Navai's art, Saadat Shikhiyeva informed the participants of the event about the importance of Cigatai Turkish and traces of the genius Uzbek poet in Fuzuli's work.

Uzbek scientist, prof. In his speech, Nurbay Jabbarov emphasized the common features of Alishir Navai and Fuzuli's creativity. Dean of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology of Urgenj State University, prof. Dilshad Gayibov noted the important points of Azerbaijan-Uzbek literary and cultural relations and gave information about future work.

Later, the guests spoke about the study and research of the legacy of Navai and Fuzuli in Uzbekistan, the place of both artists in literary studies, and the future work.
