On October 14, Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) organized an educational event titled “Cancer May Test Me, But My Smile Is Stronger” as part of the "Pink October" campaign, which is dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer. The event was held in line with one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, "Good Health and Well-Being," and aimed to inform the university community about the risks of breast cancer, prevention methods, and the importance of screening.
During the event, experts from Ülkər Psychology Center, Narimanov District Polyclinic No. 5, and various healthcare professionals discussed female health, cancer prevention, and the significance of early detection.
BAAU's Vice Rector for International Relations, Dos. Sevda Rzayeva, emphasized the importance of equal access to healthcare services for all and the need for a more informed and supportive society to combat cancer.
The event concluded with a Q&A session, and participants took a memorable photo together to mark the occasion.
