BAAU Vice-Rector for International Relations Sayavush Gasimov, Dean of the Faculty of Regional Studies and Economics Mutallim Rahimov visited Nigde Ömer Halisdemir University in Turkey. BAAU representatives held discussions with the competent heads of institutions of Nigde University regarding the double diploma project of students studying at the master's level "Economics", mutual teaching of professors and teaching staff on relevant subjects or topics, and other educational issues. Sayavush Gasimov and Mutallim Rahimov later visited the "Technopark" of Nigde University. Director of "Technopark" Rifat Battaloglu gave detailed information about the mission and activities of the institution he leads. During the meeting, he said that the Turkish government has given serious support to the activity of technology parks, ideas were exchanged regarding the creation of a technological park at BAAU, and the necessity of sharing experiences in this field was emphasized. The representatives of BAAU then met with the Rector of Nigde University, Professor Hasan Uslu. Sayavush Gasimov thanked the rector for the warm reception and useful meetings. He spoke about the meetings and agreements held with the heads of relevant institutions. The meeting also discussed the prospects of future cooperation, and the parties expressed their desire to develop it.
