BAAU Vice-Rector for International Relations Sayavush Gasimov, Dean of the "Regional Studies and Economics" Faculty Mutallim Rahimov, Associate Professor of "Translation" Department Ulviyya Huseynova met with the Ambassador of Qatar to Azerbaijan, Faisal bin Abdullah Al Hinzab. Sayavush Gasimov informed the ambassador about the university. He noted that after Azerbaijan gained its independence, Baku Eurasian University initially trained diplomatic specialists. S. Gasimov then spoke about the teaching of the Arabic language at BAAU and the training of Arabic-speaking specialists. Ambassador Faisal bin Abdullah Al Hinzab spoke about the cooperation established in the field of culture and education between the state of Qatar and the Republic of Azerbaijan, and informed about the work done in this field. Cooperation between the universities of the two countries, the situation related to the teaching of the Arabic language, the mobility program among students, etc. were discussed at the meeting.
