An information session on “Internal and External Quality Assurance” was held at Baku Eurasian University (BAAU). Organized by the university’s Quality Assurance sector, the session saw participation from the academic and administrative staff of the university.
The main goal of the event was to enhance the awareness of university department heads and staff about quality assurance mechanisms, while also providing them with comprehensive information on the significance and implementation methods of these mechanisms.
During the session, Esmira Talibova, Head of the Quality Assurance sector, delivered an extensive presentation. She informed participants about accreditation regulations for educational institutions, evaluation criteria for institutional accreditation of higher education institutions, and the importance of internal quality assurance mechanisms applied specifically at BAAU. Additionally, detailed explanations were given on the legislative foundations of internal and external quality assurance, their application at the university, and their importance for sustainable development in quality assurance.
At the end of the event, participants' questions were answered, and discussions were held.
