Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) recently hosted an engaging seminar focused on crucial strategies for water conservation. The seminar highlighted efficient irrigation, wastewater recycling, and the importance of public awareness in addressing water scarcity issues.
The session opened with a discussion on Efficient Irrigation techniques, emphasizing the adoption of advanced irrigation systems to minimise water waste in agriculture. Experts outlined how these systems could help save significant water resources while enhancing crop yields.
Wastewater Recycling was another major focus, where attendees learned about innovative methods to treat and reuse wastewater, substantially reducing the need for freshwater. This approach is gaining attention as an effective measure to conserve clean water for essential uses.
The seminar also stressed the need for Public Awareness initiatives. By educating communities about responsible water use, individuals and organizations can play an active role in preserving water resources. Strategies for public engagement and education were discussed to ensure widespread understanding and action.
BAAU as a body conducts continuous interactive workshops to actively promote conscious water usage in the campus.
