On November 8, Marmara University Institute of Turkish Studies, Northern Cyprus Turkish Culture Association, Cyprus Balkans Eurasian Turkish Literature Organization, Cyprus Turkish Literature and Writers Association organized the 4th International Cyprus Turkish Literature and Litterateurs Symposium in Istanbul.

At the opening of the event, a ceremony was held to reward scientists for their services in the fields of Turkish culture and literature. 

The award was presented by the honorary chairman of KIBATEK, Ismail Bozkurt.

At the two-day symposium organized at Marmara University, reports on Turkish-Cyprus literature, language, folklore, and history were heard.
