On September 30, 2021, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of Baku Eurasian University (BAAU), Professor Gulzar Ibrahimova, and the Head of the Translation Department, Assoc. Sevda Rzayeva attended a meeting at Baku Business University, which is the project coordinator within the project "Rectors' Conference in Azerbaijan" (ECAR). An interview with vice-rectors also took place during the meeting.

The main goal of the project is to establish and develop close cooperation between universities and other partners. ECAR aims to support the internationalization of education, increase the role of higher education institutions in the digital and innovative economy, as well as create a basis for the international representation of universities and increase their competitiveness.

Within the framework of the project, an extensive study was conducted among university leaders, academic staff, students, graduates, representatives of the labor market, and as a result of this study, relations between higher education institutions, problems in education and other issues were identified.

The ECAR project, covering 2021-2024, is an EU-funded Erasmus + KA2 capacity building project.
