International conference was held under the organization of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (TKTA) on September 29-30. 

The main purpose of the Conference called "Sustainable Quality Assurance in Education" was to study advanced practice in the relevant field, to improve internal and external quality assurance policies and mechanisms at general and higher education levels, and to establish relations in the field of quality assurance between these two levels of education.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Board of TKTA, Ulkar Sattarova, informed the event participants about the work done by the Agency in the direction of quality assurance, the results achieved and future plans.

The Minister of Science and Education, Mr. Emin Amrullayev, one of the main speakers, noted in his first speech that the reforms implemented in the framework of the Bologna process in the educational space of Azerbaijan contributed to the improvement of the quality of higher education.

The opening ceremony of the conference also was attended by the vice-rector for educational affairs of Baku Eurasian University, Ph.D., Assoc. Nigar Huseynova and Head of Internal Quality Assurance and Audit Sector Esmira Talibova.

The various trainings were organized by international experts within the framework of the event.
