The 16th Congress of Azerbaijani teachers dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev has ended.

Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov, Chairman of the High Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Famil Mustafayev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the State Examination Center Maleyka Abbaszade, Chairman of State Statistics Committee Tahir Budagov, Chairman of the Science and Education Committee of the Milli Majlis Bakhtiyar Aliyev, rectors of higher institutions and other officials participated at the event.

At the closing ceremony, Leyla Khalilova Rzazadeh, acting Head of the Strategic Planning and Implementation Control Department of the Ministry of Science and Education, read the resolution of the congress.

Then the resolution was adopted.

Then, "Heydar Aliyev scholarship" was presented to 100 students who studied in full-time at the bachelor's level of higher education and had high achievements in education, established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

At the 16th congress dedicated to Heydar Aliyev's 100th anniversary, Baku Eurasian University was represented by vice-rector for Educational Affairs PhD Nigar Huseynova and Leyla Salmanova, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Philology.
