The 32nd anniversary of the Khojaly Genocide was commemorated at the Baku Eurasian University with a series of events.
On February 26, 2024, classes dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the Khojaly genocide were organized at the Philology and Regional Studies and Economics faculties of Baku Eurasian University. In the classes, teachers and students exchanged opinions about the course of events based on historical facts about the Khojaly genocide, they said that the tragedy is one of the bloodiest genocides faced by humanity, and they talked about the historical injustice in the process of evaluating the genocide.
In the lessons, it was noted that the souls of the victims of this bloody crime, which our people carried in their hearts for 32 years, are happy today. It was emphasized that the city of Khojaly was cleared of separatists as a result of the unprecedented Patriotic war in our centuries-old history under the leadership of the victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, as well as successful anti-terrorist measures, and on October 15, 2023, President Ilham Aliyev proudly raised the National Flag of Azerbaijan in the city of Khojaly.
