At the opening ceremony of the conference, the vice-rector for scientific affairs of the university, doctor of political sciences, professor Gulzar Ibrahimova welcomed the participants and guests on behalf of the university rector, professor Nazim Huseyinli and on his own behalf, informed about the goals of the conference and noted that in order to achieve the application of mathematics and ICT solutions in various directions, this great things are being done today, so the reports presented to the conference reflect important issues. Dean of the Faculty of Regional Studies and Economics, Ph.D., Associate Professor Mutallim Rahimov presented the importance of the conference to the participants with practical examples.

At the plenary session, expert Elshan Ismayilov, head of AzIn Telecom LLC, leading specialist, expert Aynur Ismayilzadeh, project manager, expert Tural Sevdimaliyev made speeches on the issues illuminating various aspects of the topic. The presentation of the teacher of the "Mathematics and ICT" department, expert Abbasov Habib Hasan oglu "Information security in WEB-TRUST requirements of Digital Signature and SSL certificates" aroused wide interest among the conference participants.

The conference continued its work on 2 sections under the chairmanship of M.M. Gurbanova, Ph.D., and A.M. Hasanova, Ph.D. Teachers and graduate students of BAAU, as well as different higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan, listened to interesting reports on relevant topics. At the end, the participants of the conference were shown a video dedicated to the history of the development of information and communication technologies in our country. The conference successfully completed its work.
