Scope and topics of the conference
According to the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 2024 was declared the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World" in the Republic of Azerbaijan in order to strengthen international solidarity in the global fight against climate change. Since the 20th century, the increase in environmental problems and the fact that they have caused serious climate changes have also made experts in the humanitarian field think, and new fields of science have been created in this regard. Ecolinguistics, ecocriticism, and ecotranslation are the priority directions of sciences such as linguistics, literary studies, translation studies, parallel to the constantly changing and renewing world, the emergence of literary texts, the interpretation and translation of such new realities in linguistics and literary studies. Therefore, as a task arising from the order, I invite you to the conference organized jointly by the departments of "Theoretical Linguistics and Turkish Languages", "Azerbaijan and World Literature", "Translation", "Foreign Languages and Literature" of the Baku Eurasian University. We invite you to participate in order to emphasize that the concept of ecological consciousness is very important, to master the concept of ecological awareness, as well as to analyze artistic and scientific texts on the relevant topic.
Research Areas/ Scope of the Conference
It is planned to present the results of research on the following topics at the conference:
· Ecolinguistics - essence, history, scope and problems;
- Green world: Ecology of regional, continental and planetary language relations;
- Globalization as a factor shaping the ecological environment of the language;
- Azerbaijan linguistic environment: language relations of the peoples living in Azerbaijan and the ecolinguistic approach to these relations;
- Ecological analysis of language from the perspective of various scientific fields; philosophical, logical, mathematical linguistics, computational linguistics, psycholinguistics, ethnolinguistics, cognitive linguistics
· Problems of teaching ecotexts;
· Ecoethics and ecocriticism:
- New field of criticism: eco-criticism;
- Eco-folklore; "green world" in ancient and modern folk thought;
- Manifestations of ecological problems in artistic texts;
- Appeal to nature in poetry: classical approach and ecopoetics;
- Inculcating environmental awareness in examples of children's literature: problems and artistic interpretations
· Ecotranslationology
- New paradigm of translation: ecotranslation;
- Interaction of ecointerpretation with language, nature and culture;
- Ecotranslation and Western theories of translation: similarities and differences
Note: Subjects not related to the directions defined above will not be accepted.
Summary and writing guidelines:
The summary should be sent between 250-400 words in 12 fonts with 1 spacing in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages. Keywords should be listed at the end of the summary
Rules for writing the report text:
The full text should be sent in one of Azerbaijani, English or Russian languages, including abstracts, 5-10 pages, 12 fonts, 1 spacing

· An acceptance letter will be sent after the abstract is accepted
· The conference will be held on February 23, 2024
· Full texts of the report until March 10, 2024

Presentation texts should be compiled in the following order:
• MS Word editor
• A4 format
• Times New Roman font size 12
• Line spacing – 1
• Marginal spaces of the text – 2 cm
• At the beginning of the text, the author's ORCID number, name and surname, place of work (institution where he studied), scientific degree, scientific name, e-mail address should be indicated
• References and references should be in APA style
Note: Texts of reports that do not match the format and topic, as well as those of authors who did not participate in the conference, will not be included in the conference materials.
