Rector of Nigde Omar Halisdemir University, professor Hasan Uslu and director of the university's "Technopark", associate professor Rifat Battaloglu, who visited Azerbaijan at the invitation of Baku Eurasian University's rector, professor Nazim Huseynli, visited Azerbaijan on October 19-20 and participated in “Republic of Turkey and Azerbaijani philology” conference. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Rector Hasan Uslu spoke about the history of friendly relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan and the prospects for future development. After the conference, the guests got acquainted with the activities of BAAU. Later, Hasan Uslu and Rifat Battaloglu visited the BAAU library. The guests who got acquainted with the electronic resources and book fund of the library highly appreciated the created conditions and opportunities. Hasan Uslu emphasized that the richness of the book fund is one of the main criteria for quality personnel training. Rector of Omar Halisdemir University in Niğde, Professor Hasan Uslu and Director of Technopark of the University, Associate Professor Rifat Battaloglu visited the grave of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, and laid golden flowers in front of his grave. The guests then visited the Turkish Martyrdom and the grave of MP Ganira Pashayeva.
