With the organization and support of Baku Eurasia University, a discussion of the elegantly designed new edition of the book "Fuzuli Artifact" dedicated to the creativity and heritage of the genius Azerbaijani poet Muhammad Fuzuli, written by Mir Jalal Pashayev, a prominent writer, scholar of literature and pedagogue of Azerbaijan, was held in the "House of the Writer"
On February 28, 2024, a discussion of the book "Fuzuli Art" by Professor Mir Jalal Pashayev, a prominent writer, scientist, and pedagogue of the 20th century, was held as part of the "Year of Fuzuli" in the "House of the Writer" located in Icheri Sheher, together with the faculty and students of Baku Eurasian University. . The guests first watched the documentary film "Baku Meetings" about the life and work of Professor Mir Jalal Pashayev, and then discussed the book. It should be noted that Professor Mir Jalal Pashayev's book "Fuzuli Artifact" was published for the first time in 1958, but it was a great event in Fuzuli studies and still maintains its scientific importance. With this book, Mir Jalal Pashayev laid the foundation of the school of poetics in the study of Fuzuli's heritage in Azerbaijani literary studies. The discussion was opened by professor Tarlan Guliyev, doctor of philology, teacher of the Azerbaijan and world literature department of Baku Eurasia University. He spoke about the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev regarding the 530th anniversary of Fuzuli, and then he spoke extensively about the position of Fuzuli in the history of Azerbaijani literature. In his speech, Professor Tarlan Guliyev also emphasized that Mir Jalal Pashayev's book "Fuzuli Artifacts" is the first monograph on Fuzuli written with modern scientific methodology. Then, from the faculty of Baku Eurasia University, who participated in the event, the dean of the faculty of philology, PhD in philology, associate professor Salman Suleymanov, PhD in philology, professor Elmira Mammadova-Kekech, head of the department of Azerbaijani and world literature, PhD in philology, associate professor Seyfeddin Altayli, Associate Professor Saadat Shikhiyeva, Ph.D. in Philology, Associate Professor Khatira Yusifova, Ph.D. and professor Mir Jalal Pashayev shared their interesting opinions about the book "Fuzuli Artifact", about the book's author, editor, and preface authors. In their speeches, when they appreciated the life and creativity of Mir Jalal Pashayev, they voiced opinions that he was a personality with high writing talent and high quality. Later, the speakers analyzed the book "Fuzuli Artifacts" from different aspects and appreciated its scientific value, saying that this book was written with high intelligence, deep guidance to Fuzuli heritage and at the same time from the position of a true educator. The students who participated in the event were satisfied with this meeting and addressed the questions they were interested in to the faculty. At the end of the meeting, the place was visited under the guidance of "Adib's House" staff. The event ended with great impressions.
