Baku Eurasian University hosted an event dedicated to the 99th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, entitled "Political and ideological activities of the founder of modern Azerbaijani statehood, national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev."

The event was attended by university administration, faculty, students and community members.

First, flowers were laid in front of the bust of the National Leader in the administrative building of the university and his memory was honored.

Opening the event, the head of the university's education department, Professor Mansim Mammadov shared his memories of his historic meeting with the Great Leader on the 50th anniversary of Nakhchivan State University in 1974, when he studied in Nakhchivan.

Speaking about the unparalleled services rendered by the Great Leader to our people, the speakers noted that today each of us is proud to be a citizen of modern, independent Azerbaijan, created and introduced to the world by the great leader.

As long as Azerbaijan exists, Heydar Aliyev will always live in hearts!
