A debate on the topic of "Gender Equality" was held by the Debate Club under the Student Scientific Society (SCS) of Baku Eurasian University (BAAU). The event aimed to expand the understanding of gender equality among the university's students and facilitate a discussion on the topic.
The meeting was moderated by Ayxan Raziyev, the chairperson of the Debate Club. During the first part of the event, participants were provided with information on gender equality, types of gender inequality, bullying, sexual and racial discrimination, women's and men's activities in various professions, and statistics on wage disparities. The significance of this issue in society was emphasized.
Following the presentation, a broad exchange of views took place among the students, with various perspectives on the topic being discussed.
BAAU faculty member Çimnaz İsmayılbəyli and the chairperson of the SCS, Nərmin Nurullayeva, who attended the event, highlighted the relevance of the topic and noted that such events play an important role in shaping public awareness among students. They appreciated the Debate Club's initiative and stressed the importance of regularly organizing such meetings.
