An educational event dedicated to International Human Rights Day was held at Baku Eurasian University (BAAU), with active participation from the university's students. The event took place in the university’s conference hall.
During the event, Associate Professor Dr. Sayyad Majidov, a lecturer at BAAU; as well as lecturers from Baku State University—Dr. Shahin Mammadrzali, Director of Baku Mediation Organization No. 1, and Associate Professor Dr. Alovsat Allahverdiyev—delivered presentations highlighting the significance of Human Rights Day. Their talks were followed by engaging discussions with the participants.
The event provided attendees with comprehensive information on the protection of human rights in both peacetime and wartime. Key international conventions and declarations relevant to human rights were also reviewed and summarized.
Organized in a discussion-based format, the event offered students the opportunity to ask questions and actively engage in dialogue on various aspects of human rights.
