On the eve of the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the 25th anniversary of the approval of the "State Program for the Protection of Human Rights", an event was held at the "Humanities and Regional Studies" department of Baku Eurasian University.

The event was attended by the dean of the "Regional studies and economics" faculty Mutallim Rahimov, the head of the Humanities and regional studies department, Aybeniz Rustamova, department employees, the head of the "Economy and management" department, Ilhama Aslanova, university students and employees.

Talking about the documents adopted by the heads of state and government regarding human rights in our country, their importance and other legal acts, Sayyad Majidov, associate professor of the department, gave extensive information about theoretical and practical issues related to human rights.

At the event, there were also discussions and exchange of views on the history of human rights, their legal status, and their recognition in international documents.
