Scholars from Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) participated in an international conference dedicated to youth-related issues

The 5th International Youth Research Conference was held in Marmaris, Turkey, from October 30 to November 3. The opening ceremony, hosted at the Marmaris Orka Hotel, was attended by
Marmaris District Governor Nurullah Kaya, representatives from the Confederation of Turkish Youth Clubs, as well as researchers and other academics.
Zakariyya Bingöl, a member of the Board of Directors of the Confederation of Turkish Youth Clubs, delivered the opening speech at the conference. In his address, he expressed pride in organizing the event for the fifth consecutive year and conveyed his hopes for a better world for young people. Bingöl noted that the conference, which initially began in Marmaris in 2016, has since been hosted in various cities. He emphasized the significance of the conference for youth, highlighting its role as a platform for discussing the challenges currently faced by young people, as well as an opportunity for scholars in these fields to present their research.
he conference was attended by representatives from several higher education institutions in Azerbaijan. Baku Eurasian University was represented by Assoc. Prof. Mutallim Rahimov, Dean of the Faculty of Regional Studies and Economics, and Assoc. Prof. Matanat Gurbanova, Head of the Department of Business and Management.
Assoc. Prof. Rahimov presented reports on "Strategies, Economic Impact, and Innovations in the Study of Youth Social Entrepreneurship" and "Developing Critical Thinking for the New Generation." Assoc. Prof. Gurbanova delivered reports on "The Role of Youth in Shaping the Economy of the Future," "Globalization and Young Tourists: Intercultural Interactions," and "Youth and Sustainable Tourism: Training Tourism Professionals of the Future."
The reports presented at the conference were met with significant interest, sparking engaging discussions on the topics addressed.
It is important to note that the conference was truly international in scope, with participation from scientists representing countries such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Albania, Belgium, the United States, Germany, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The event featured contributions from 18 universities and 9 institutions across 18 provinces of Turkey, as well as 22 universities and 2 institutions from 13 different countries. During the conference, scholars shared their research findings and experiences on a variety of issues related to youth.
