Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) has introduced the "Mini-Startup Program," aimed at fostering students' entrepreneurial and startup skills. The three-month intensive program, organized by BAAU's Innovation Sector, is designed to cultivate a startup mindset among students while providing foundational knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship.
On the first day of the program, Mubariz Shahbazli, head of "Divida Ventures," provided participants with comprehensive insights into the concept of a startup, its various types, and the distinctions between innovation and a project. During the program's first month, M. Shahbazli will provide equip participants with essential knowledge and skills related to team building within the startup ecosystem, idea development, market and competitor analysis, and the transition from idea to startup.
As part of the three-month program, participants will engage in practical tasks alongside acquiring theoretical knowledge, with the guidance of various trainers, allowing them to gain hands-on experience in shaping an initial product.
It is noteworthy that 15 BAAU students, selected from those who applied for the "Mini-Startup Program," were granted the opportunity to participate in this program. Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate and ongoing mentoring support from BAAU's Innovation Sector.
