Chimnaz Ismayilbeyli, a teacher of the Department of Humanities and Regional Studies of the Baku Eurasian University, was the winner of the "Realize the Idea" competition of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The "Teachers of the 21st Century" project implemented under her leadership in the community has been completed. The project, realized in the form of intensive training, aimed to provide young teachers of education institutions, to the last year students studying at the pedagogical faculty with innovative and interactive educational methods and improve their professional skills.
The project leader informed the participants about inclusive education with the session "Inclusion and Social Equality in Education" and gave them information about the formation of a more supportive environment. Later, she introduced the participants to interactive methods with the session "Non-formal education: tools and methods". During the training, practical tasks called "One Step Forward" aimed at increasing the empathy skills of the participants were carried out. Other sessions of the project were moderated by various experts and trainers.
Efsana Muradli, teacher of the Department of Humanities and Regional Studies, trainer with two different sessions called "Traditional or modern education methods?" and "Teacher-student relationship" gave future teachers a different point of view and explained new approaches to teacher-student relationship.
Thanks to the innovative and inclusive approaches presented during the training, the participants had the opportunity to improve their professional knowledge and skills and apply more effective teaching strategies in the classrooms. At the end, certificates were presented to all participants.
