On December 13, 2023, the editor of Azertaj's information release in Arabic, professional translator Shikhali Aliyev was a guest of the Department of Translation at Baku Eurasian University. At the event held as part of the "International Arabic Language Week", Sh. Aliyev shared his translation experience with the students of the Translation major of the Faculty of Philology. The guest of the event gave a speech on "XXI century and translation". Here, the guest gave extensive information about the hard skills of translators. Later, they exchanged views on the problems encountered during the oral translation, their solutions and future prospects. The importance of hard skills to achieve successful results in the translation process was emphasized.
