An online seminar titled " Sustainability Uncertainty " was held, organized by Baku Eurasian University (BAAU)

The next online seminar, titled "Sustainability Uncertainty," was held by the Economic Research Center of Baku Eurasian University (BAAU). The seminar, conducted via the Zoom platform, was attended by the university's academic and administrative staff, as well as students and graduate students.
The seminar, moderated by Prof. Cem Işık, Head of the BAAU Center for Economic Research, featured a presentation by Prof. Dr. Serdar Ongan from the University of South Florida on the topic.
In his speech, S. Ongan addressed the central theme of the seminar, highlighting the contemporary economic and environmental dimensions of uncertainty related to sustainability. He emphasized that factors such as climate change, global economic crises, and social inequality significantly impact sustainable development strategies.
The speaker specifically discussed the impact of uncertainty on business and policy, stressing the importance of businesses and governments developing adaptation strategies in response to changing circumstances. He also explored the role of statistical models and artificial intelligence in sustainability management.
At the end of the seminar, the questions raised by the participants were addressed, followed by an exchange of views on the topic.
It is worth noting that, in line with the activities of the Economic Research Center, seminars and master classes will continue as part of an ongoing series.
