An event was held at Baku Eurasian University to commemorate Heydar Aliyev, the national leader, the architect and founder of our independent state.

The national anthem was first played, and then the great leader's dear memory was commemorated with a minute of silence.

Sayavush Gasimov, vice-rector for international relations of BAAU, who opened the event, noted the times of the great leader's leadership in our republic as stages of construction and progress, sustainable peace and dynamic development, and advised students to follow the pages of our glorious history again.

The commemorative event highlighted the decisive and goal-oriented activities of President Ilham Aliyev and talked about the end of the 30-year occupation.
