Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) hosted an event in celebration of March 8 – International Women's Day. The event was attended by the leadership of BAAU, along with all female employees.
The opening speech was delivered by the Rector of BAAU, Assoc. Prof. Sayavush Gasimov. In his address, he highlighted the indispensable role of women in the development of society and the education system. Emphasizing the undeniable contribution of women to the advancement of education, the rector also pointed out that a significant portion of the university's staff is comprised of female employees.
In his speech, the rector underscored the significant value that Azerbaijani society places on women and mothers, referencing both historical and religious sources. He highlighted the saying of the Prophet Muhammad, "Paradise lies under the feet of mothers," emphasizing the sacred and revered position of women in society.
Following the opening address, other representatives from the university also extended their congratulations to women in celebration of the holiday.
The administration of BAAU reiterated their congratulations to all female employees, wishing them continued health, happiness, professional growth, and success.
