 The Rector of Baku Eurasian University (BAAU), Associate Professor Sayavush Gasimov, met with the Rector of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University (NOHU) in the Republic of Turkey, Professor Hasan Uslu. During the meeting, Professor Uslu congratulated Associate Professor Gasimov on his appointment as Rector of BAAU and extended his best wishes for his future endeavors.
The discussion focused on further strengthening cooperation between the two universities, expanding exchange programs, and developing dual diploma initiatives. Additionally, they exchanged views on organizing master classes and lectures in relevant subject areas.
The meeting was also attended by Associate Professor Nigar Huseynova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at BAAU; Associate Professor Sevda Rzayeva, Vice-Rector for International Relations at BAAU; Associate Professor Mutallim Rahimov, Dean of the Faculty of Regional Studies and Economics at BAAU; and Professor Murat Barut, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at NOHU.
It is worth noting that the cooperation between BAAU and NOHU began with the signing of a memorandum in 2019. Within this framework, student exchanges, joint projects, and conferences have been successfully implemented.
