The Regular Meeting of the Academic Council was held at Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) on March 6. During the meeting, key issues related to the university’s activities were discussed, and future objectives were outlined.

The meeting commenced with the presentation of the report on the outcomes of 2025. The report was delivered by the Rector of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sayavush Gasimov. The Rector provided detailed information on the achievements across the university’s main areas of activity over the past year, as well as the tasks ahead.

Subsequently, the results of the examination session for the fall semester of the 2025/2026 academic year were discussed. The Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nigar Huseynova, delivered an extensive presentation on the outcomes of the session and the organization of the educational process.

During the meeting, a report was also presented by the Head of the Department for Academic Affairs Organization, Assoc. Prof. Dr.  Natella Guliyeva, regarding the organization of professional internships and the tasks ahead in this area. In addition, the Dean of the Faculty of Regional Studies and Economics, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mutallim Rahimov, presented a proposal on awarding scholarships to students based on the results of the fall semester examination session of the 2025/2026 academic year.

Appropriate decisions were adopted on all the issues discussed, and recommendations were provided to further enhance the university’s activities.

It should also be noted that the chairs of the Student Scientific Society and the Student Youth Organization participate in the meetings of the Academic Council and take part in open voting.
