On December 20, 2023, a scientific seminar dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, entitled "XXI century and translation: challenges and perspectives" was held with the participation of academic staff of the Translation Department of Baku Eurasian University.  

The seminar was opened by the Head of the Department of Translation, Associate Professor (Ph.D. in Philology) Sevda Rzayeva, who emphasized the necessity of the field of translation in the era of globalization.  

Later, the Vice-rector for scientific affairs, professor Gulzar Ibrahimova, stated broadly over the role of specialists working in this field. In addition to the academic staff of the department, representatives of other higher education institutions also gave a speech at the seminar.  

At the event, opinions were exchanged about the changes, problems and developments in the field of translation, and interesting opinions were mentioned.
