A group of employees from Baku Eurasian University were recognized with awards

A ceremony was held at Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) to honor the winners and employees who distinguished themselves through their work achievements in 2024, based on the results of a survey conducted among employees for the nominations.
The speech delivered by BAAU Rector, Associate Professor Sayavush Gasimov, at the opening of the award ceremony highly commended the results of 2024 and emphasized that the contributions of the staff and students in various areas played a significant role in the development of the university.
Professor Elmira Mammadova-Kekech, Head of the Department of Azerbaijani and World Literature at BAAU, and Associate Professor Zamina Rustambeyli, Head of the Department of Theoretical Linguistics and Turkic Languages, were awarded for their efforts in staff training and active participation in the university's public life. Aygul Ahmadova, Head of the Project Management and Academic Mobility Sector, was recognized for her role in implementing the university's internationalization policy. Esmira Talibova, Head of the Quality Assurance Sector, received recognition for her work in enhancing the quality of education, while Tamerlan Shahbazli, Head of the Information Technologies Sector, was honored for his significant contributions to the university's digitalization process.
In addition, based on the results of the voting among university employees in various categories, the first-place winners were awarded. Accordingly, the "Leader of the Year" was Fidan Azizova, Chairperson of the Student Youth Organization of BAAU; the "Secret Hero of the Year" was Aysel Alili, Senior Referent to the Rector; and the "Creative Worker of the Year" was Gurban Gurbanzadeh, a Public Relations Specialist.
