An event called "Breezes from the Republic" was held at Baku Eurasia University

An event called "Breezes from the Republic" was held within the framework of the year of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, jointly organized by the "Azerbaijani and World Literature" and "Theoretical Linguistics and Turkic Languages" departments of the Faculty of Philology at Baku Eurasia University. The program of the event included three significant historical events: the 105th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey and the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Ufuk Turganer, the representative of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in Azerbaijan, participated in the event as a guest. Before the event, Ufuk Turganer was received by the rector of the university, Professor Nazim Huseynli. The meeting was attended by the vice-rector for scientific affairs professor Gulzar Ibrahimova, vice-rector for international relations associate professor Sayavush Gasimov, head of the department "Azerbaijan and world literature" professor Elmira Mammadova-Kekech, head of the department "Theoretical linguistics and Turkish languages" associate professor Zamina Rustambayli. At the meeting, discussions were held about education, science and other issues, and interesting ideas were voiced. Commemorative pictures were taken during the meeting and at the end. The program of the event is remembered for its diversity. So, in accordance with the program, an exhibition of handicrafts of university students was shown first. At the exhibition, the images of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Heydar Aliyev, the flags of Azerbaijan, Turkey, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, paintings depicting the sights of all three countries, various models, and textile samples attracted the interest of the participants. Then Ufuk Turganer, the representative of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in Azerbaijan, made a speech in front of the faculty and students of the university. Ms. Ufuk's sincere speech was well received by everyone. Professor Gulzar Ibrahimova, vice-rector for scientific affairs of the university, and associate professor Sayavush Gasimov, vice-rector for international relations, were among the speakers. Later, the literary and artistic part of the event began. The National Anthems of the Republics of Azerbaijan and Turkey were played, the dear memory of our Martyrs who died for the Motherland was remembered with a minute of silence, and then in this part of the event, a presentation reflecting the 105th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey and the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was shown. Students recited beautiful, patriotic poems written by Azerbaijani, Turkish and North Cyprus poets, some students wrote their own poems, live music and national dance were performed. The literary and artistic part ended with a theater performance bearing traces of the Dardanelles war. In addition to the university students, Türkay Kekeç, a 4th-grade student of the Baku-Turk elementary school under the Turkish-Anatolian high school, took part in the performance. The literary and artistic part of the event was greeted with applause by the audience. At the end of the literary and artistic part, a bouquet depicting the flag of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus made of satin ribbons made by the students for Mrs. Ufuk, and a wonderful flower of the Karabakh land, made by docent Zamina Rustambayli and professor Elmira Mammadova-Kekech, made of mineral stones and beads, of our Martyrs and A lapel pin with a Khary bull-bull image, which has become a symbol of our victory, was presented as a gift. In accordance with the program, the event ended with the presentation and serving of a table of food and sweets called "Pearls from Common Turkish Cuisine" prepared by the students at the "Theoretical Linguistics and Turkish Languages" department. Commemorative photos and video footage were taken during the event and at the end.
