An event titled "Heydar Aliyev: The Leader Who Introduced Azerbaijan to the World" was held at BAAU

An event titled "Heydar Aliyev: The Leader Who Introduced Azerbaijan to the World" was held at Baku Eurasian University (BAAU), jointly organized by the Faculty of Philology, the Department of Translation, and the Student Youth Organization. The event aimed to familiarize the younger generation with the significant contributions of the great leader Heydar Aliyev to Azerbaijan's independence and development, while also promoting his rich legacy. The event was attended by the academic and administrative staff of the Faculty of Philology at BAAU, as well as both local and international students.
The event began with the playing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a minute of silence in honor of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of the country.
At the opening of the event, Nigar Aliyeva, Acting Head of the Department of Translation at BAAU, delivered a speech in which she provided insights into the strategic measures taken by national leader Heydar Aliyev to promote Azerbaijan on the international stage. She emphasized that the strong foundations laid by the great leader in the fields of education, diplomacy, and the economy have played a crucial role in the successes Azerbaijan has achieved today.
Following the opening speech, the event proceeded with discussions among BAAU students in both Azerbaijani and English. The discussions addressed topics such as education, diplomatic successes, the preservation of cultural heritage, and the significance of foreign policy.
It is important to note that the study of the legacy of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and its promotion among students is a priority at BAAU.
