At Baku Eurasian University (BAAU), within the framework of the "Solidarity Year for a Green World" initiative and one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, a seminar titled "The Importance of Transitioning to Green Energy in the Green Energy Sector" was held. This seminar focused on "Efficient and Clean Energy" and was attended by the university’s academic staff and students.
During the seminar, Saxavat Mirzayev, an employee of Azerenerji OJSC, delivered a presentation on various topics including the concepts of "green energy" and "green economy," Azerbaijan’s hosting of COP29, the role of artificial intelligence in energy development, types of renewable energy sources, and their usage dynamics in Azerbaijan. He also discussed the role of energy in large-scale reconstruction works in the liberated Karabakh region, supported by statistical data.
The seminar sparked active interest among participants, with questions being answered and engaging discussions taking place.
It is worth noting that BAAU is organizing a series of events as part of the "Solidarity Year for a Green World."
