On October 9, vice-rector for educational affairs of Baku Eurasian University Nigar Huseynova, vice-rector for international relations, Sayavush Gasimov, scientific head of BAAU "Arab Studies Center" Ulviyya Huseynova, executive director Mutallim Rahimov met with Issam bin Saleh Al-Qutayl, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia. Nigar Huseynova congratulated the ambassador on behalf of the BAAU rector. She then gave detailed information about the activities of the university, informed the ambassador about the students studying at the university. Ulviyya Huseynova, Scientific Head of BAAU's "Arabic Studies Center" talked about the work done by the Center in the direction of teaching Arabic language to students. She also informed the ambassador about the attention and care given by the Center to the students studying in Arabic language. Ambassador Issam bin Saleh al-Quteil emphasized that establishing cooperation in the field of education and science between universities operating in Saudi Arabia and educational institutions in Azerbaijan will be beneficial to both sides, noting that the embassy will provide the necessary support in this area. A number of issues related to the establishment and development of cooperation in the field of science and education were also discussed at the meeting.
