A simulation conference titled "In Solidarity for a Green World" was held at Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) as part of the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World." The event was implemented in partnership with BAAU and the AzMUN program, following their success in winning the "Realize Your Idea 2023" grant competition announced by the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation. Led by third-year International Relations student Shakir Garayev, the conference provided participants with the opportunity to represent various countries as diplomatic representatives in simulations of United Nations (UN) organs and agencies, discussing global issues from political perspectives. The conference included three committees focused on the UN Conference of the Parties (COP), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), conducted in both Azerbaijani and English. The project's goal was to enhance young people's knowledge and skills in international diplomacy, global problem-solving, and ecological issues while fostering negotiation and leadership abilities, engaging over 80 participants from more than 20 educational institutions.
