Baku Eurasian University has joined the competition to participate in the Teknofest festival to be held in Turkey this year. BAAU's team has already advanced to one step of the finals and entered the last stage. If the team passes this stage, they will have the right to participate in the technofest.

It should also be noted that BAAU presented the mine-detecting drone systems project to "Teknofest 2023". These systems include transversal and longitudinal wave sensors integrated into mini or micro unmanned aerial vehicles designed to protect human life and ensure safety in minefields. Through these sensors, drones can detect buried mines, improvised explosive devices and unexploded ordnance and transfer them to 3D maps. Thus, demining robots or expert agencies know the location and type of mines before entering a minefield and can defuse them more effectively.

It should also be noted that BAAU students, team captain Ali Shikhali, members Bahlul Nasibli, Svetlana Babayeva, Elshan Isayev, Ismail Shukurzade, Aysu Zeynalova, Natig Orujov are working on this successful project. The mentor of the project is BAAU teacher Aysel Sadygova.
